Can A Pregnancy Test Be Negative after Delayed Menstruation?

I had sex a month ago the condom broke so I took emergency contraceptive the same day I had sex, I got my period a week after ( not spotting). I ve been feeling symptoms this month. I took a pregnancy test and was negative but still have the symptoms. I also have not received my period

yes the pregnancy test can be negative despite of delayed periods as your periods would have got delayed due to hormonal factors and also due to anxiety.... also the emergency pills in few have a tendency to delay the periods. I would suggest you to wait for yours periods still if delayed get a laboratory pregmancy test done.
